December 10, 6 - 10 P.M.
Following the MDCE poolside reception
Come one. Come all.
Laugh with us
As the official EMCEE of the night, James Cunningham says, "The best part of the night is going to be me...and you." James has hosted and performed at numerous events for clients including: Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Walmart, Proctor & Gamble, Staples, Kraft, and more. He has shared the stage with multiple luminaries such as: Former US President Bill Clinton, Sir Richard Branson, Martha Stewart, Hilary Swank, and others. As if that's not enough, he also is the host of the TV series Eat St. which airs on the Cooking Channel.
We can guarantee a night full of laughter partnered with the awarding of some well-deserved people in the Marine Industry. All while supporting the very Foundation that make these scholarships possible. We don't think we need to talk him up any more. He'll take care of that himself.
Eat and drink with us
Light appetizers will be served alongside a cash bar available to all who attend. Keep the party going by heading into the Awards Celebration after the poolside reception. Anyone and everyone is welcome and reservations are not needed. However, if you do want to secure a space for you and your team members, you can do so in support of the MRAA Educational Foundation.
Fork it over with us
Four of your industry dealers, suppliers, and well-known educational experts will take the stage and show us what they've got. The names of those talented marine folks won't be announced...just yet. But rumor has it, Sam Dantzler can juggle? We need your participation and support to crown the winner of our show. Most importantly: all the funds raised during this event will benefit the Foundation.
All in support of the
MRAA Educational Foundation
The Marine Retailers Association of the Americas is committed to the continued health of the marine industry, as well as providing education and support to all of its members. Through this mission, the MRAA has created a number of scholarships to financially assist the professional development of those in the marine industry and has also set up an educational foundation to ensure this initiative continues to grow and prosper.
The MRAA Educational Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation, was founded in 2004 to provide financial support for education, training and professional development in the recreational marine trades. MRAA and the MRAA Educational Foundation are dedicated to the growth of the recreational marine industry through workforce development. The MRAA Educational Foundation offers five different educational scholarships and an annual award that will be presented at this event.
